En Plein Air at Parks Around Sooke
En Plein Air is an outdoor artist’s event hosted by Sooke Art Council. ‘Plein Air’ is a French term meaning painting outdoors and is a style of art that takes the artist outside to create artwork based on the inspiration they find in their location. The event will bring local artists to Whiffin Spit, Ed MacGregor Park, the Sooke Marine Boardwalk and John Phillips Memorial Park. The public is invited to view the artists at work.
