SEDIMENT AND EROSION CONTROL

In anticipation of winter rains, site managers are advised to please ensure that you prepare your work sites for the rain so that our watercourses and marine areas are protected. It is important to work with your environmental professionals to make sure soil stock piles are covered, sediment fencing is installed and in good repair, and catch basins are cleaned out and free of debris on all of your projects. Remember it is important to ensure that these best practices are followed throughout the rainy season. Do not hesitate to contact Laura Byrne, Parks and Environmental Services Coordinator if you have any concerns.
