Sooke Region Museum & Visitor Centre
The Sooke Fine Arts Show is Vancouver Island’s premier summer arts event, showcasing more than 350 works by artists from across the region. Held annually at the SEAPARC Leisure Complex, the show features gallery exhibits, live artist demonstrations, youth art displays, and a curated gift shop.
The Sooke Philharmonic Orchestra brings classical music to life through concerts, workshops, and performances throughout the year. Founded by Maestro Norman Nelson, the Orchestra has become a cornerstone of Sooke’s cultural community, offering accessible programming for all ages.
Sooke is featured on the BC Bird Trail—a curated guide to some of the best birdwatching experiences in the province. With coastal wetlands, forested trails, and ocean viewpoints, our region is home to eagles, herons, songbirds, shorebirds, and seasonal migrants.
On the BC Farmers’ Market Trail
