Traffic Advisory: Blythwood Road Closure – West of Woodlands Road, between 5829 and 5833

Location: Blythwood Road – west of Woodlands Road, between 5829 and 5833 Blythwood Road. No thru traffic - Access to Blythwood via Parklands Road

The roadside bank on the south side of Blythwood Road at Saseenos Creek has sloughed due to cumulative rainfall over the winter months. This has resulted in instability of the roadway embankment and has required a geotechnical investigation to further assess site conditions.

In the interest of public safety, an approximately 40 metre section of Blythwood Road has been closed. This closure means there is no through traffic permitted in the area at this time.
