Annual Professional Development Office Closure - Wednesday, November 26, 2025

The District of Sooke Municipal Hall will be closed on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, for a Professional Development Day. 

This annual development opportunity supports staff in expanding the skills and knowledge necessary to enhance service delivery and meet the needs of Sooke’s growing community. Essential services, including fire protection and wastewater operations, will continue as usual. Regular Municipal Hall services will resume on Thursday, November 27, at 8:30 a.m. 

“Investing in our team ensures we continue to provide quality service to residents and businesses,” says Raechel Gray, Chief Administrative Officer. “Professional development days like this one allow staff to strengthen collaboration, expand expertise, and ultimately serve our community more effectively.”
