Grand Parade Sooke Fundraiser Launches with Call for Participants

Registration is now open for the third annual Grand Parade Sooke, taking place Saturday, September 19, 2026 and hosted by the Sooke Region Communities Health Network (SRCHN).

The Grand Parade is a family-friendly fundraising walk held in communities across Canada in support of local programs serving seniors and their families. Through peer-to-peer fundraising, the Sooke event brings donations into the community from supporters near and far, with contributions received from around the world.

Organizers are now inviting residents, businesses, community groups, families and friends to get involved by registering as a Team Lead or joining an existing team. Participants can create a team, invite others to walk alongside them and help raise funds in support of the Sooke community.

There is no cost to participate, although fundraising is encouraged. The event will also feature food, entertainment and plenty of team spirit. Participants are encouraged to dress up, with costume prizes available on event day.

Whether you gather coworkers, neighbours, friends or family members, forming a team is a fun way to connect with the community while supporting an important local cause.

Register a team, join an existing team, volunteer or donate at thegrandparade.org/location/sooke.
