Have Your Say: Upcoming Open Houses and Survey on handyDART Transit in Victoria’s 25-Year Plan

The District of Sooke is sharing the following information from BC Transit:

BC Transit is continuing to refresh the long-term vision for transit service in the Victoria region through the ongoing Victoria Regional Transit Plan. To ensure our handyDART customers have their say, public engagement events and an online survey launch on November 28, 2025 and will be available until December 22, 2025.

The feedback collected through the online survey and at open houses over the coming month will help ensure BC Transit’s handyDART system continues to evolve and provide services that connect customers to their needs, while also identifying new priorities for the future.

The insights gathered from the survey and in-person engagements will feed into the refreshed and updated Victoria Regional Transit Plan. The refreshed plan will be the foundation used for future service planning recommendations focused on handyDART as BC Transit continues to invest in fixed route and handyDART service to meet the needs of the growing communities until 2050.
