Hop Into Spring at Sooke’s Family Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by Pemberton Holmes
Spring is in the air, and with it comes a fun-filled opportunity for families to get outside and enjoy the season together at the 5th Annual Pemberton Holmes Sooke Family Easter Egg Hunt.
Taking place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at John Phillips Memorial Park, this free community event is sure to be egg-stra special.
Set among the blooming greenery of one of Sooke’s favourite parks, the event offers more than just egg hunting. Families can look forward to a lively morning featuring face painting, colouring activities, prizes, popcorn, and more - plenty of ways to keep everyone entertained.
Egg Hunt Schedule
To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, egg hunts will take place in age-grouped heats approximately every 20 minutes (give or take) throughout the morning.

Be sure to arrive a little early to get ready for your egg-citing heat!
Events like this are a great way to enjoy the outdoors, connect with neighbours, and celebrate the arrival of spring. Whether you’re hopping by for the egg hunt or staying to enjoy all the activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Parking is available at John Phillips Memorial Park and Sooke Municipal Hall, making it easy to hop on over and join the fun. Participants are also encouraged to carpool or access the site via neighbourhood trails to help ease area congestion.
