Information Bulletin: District of Sooke – 2026 Council Meeting Schedule

This District of Sooke is providing notice of its 2026 Council meeting schedule.

Regular Council meetings are scheduled to take place at 6:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Monday of each month, shifting to Tuesday when a statutory holiday falls on the scheduled meeting date. Committee of the Whole meetings are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on the third Monday of each month, unless a holiday requires an alternate date.

Regular Council meeting dates for 2026 are scheduled as follows:

• January: 12, 26
• February: 9, 23
• March: 9, 23
• April: 13, 27
• May: 11, 25
• June: 8, 22
• July: 13, 27
• September: 8, 28
• October: 5
• November: 2*, 9, 23
• December: 7

*The November 2, 2026 meeting will serve as the Inaugural Council Meeting, following the municipal election scheduled for October 17, 2026.

The District does not hold a second December meeting due to the holiday period.
