Pursuant to sections 24 and 26 of the Community Charter, and in accordance with section 94, notice is hereby given that the District of Sooke intends to dispose of an interest in District-owned land by way of a lease for less than market value, as follows:
Description of Lands:
A portion of the District-owned property at 6651 Wadams Way, Sooke, BC, being part of Remainder A, Plan VIP87872, as shown outlined on the map below.
Lessee:
Catalyst Community Developments Society, Incorporation No. S0061889
Nature of Disposition:
Ground lease for the purpose of developing, constructing, and operating a mixed-use health centre and non-market housing project.
Term:
Sixty-three (63) years
Consideration:
$10.00 for the term of the lease (less than market value)
