Public Service Advisory: Murray Road – Park / Trail Closure & Road Closure on March 26, 7am to 4pm

Please be advised that Murray Road will be closed to both pedestrian and vehicle access from Horne Road to the end of Murray Road on Thursday, March 26, from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For the safety of the public and workers, trail and park access from Murray Road to the Sooke Marine Boardwalk will also be closed during this time.

A tree crew will be working in the area. For safety reasons, the park stairs and trail access will be closed to all pedestrians, and no vehicle or pedestrian access will be permitted within the work zone.

Alternative access to the Sooke Marine Boardwalk and Rotary Pier will remain available via the Ed Macgregor Park entrance.

Neighbourhood residents where additional accommodations are required to support this work will receive separate communications from District staff.
