Save the Date: Sooke Health Summit on September 26, 2026

Community members, service providers and local organizations are invited to save the date for the 2026 Sooke Health Summit.

In 2016, a community health summit brought people together to identify ongoing gaps and emerging issues affecting health and well-being across the Sooke region. Discussions focused on four key areas:

  • Healthy food accessibility
  • Special populations
  • Medical services and infrastructure
  • Social and physical activities

Ten years later, the community will come together again to reflect on what has changed, recognize areas where progress has been made and identify gaps and new issues that continue to affect residents.

Through facilitated discussions, participants will have an opportunity to share their experiences, perspectives and priorities. The information gathered will help build a current understanding of health and social needs across the region and support future collaboration among community organizations, service providers and local partners.

The summit is intended to create space for constructive conversation, shared learning and community connection. Whether you participated in the 2016 summit or are joining the discussion for the first time, your perspective is welcome.

Additional information, including registration details and the event agenda, will be shared soon.

Please save the date: Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sooke Community Hall.
