Temporary Water Service Disruption – Tuesday, July 7, 2026
The District of Sooke is relaying information to residents from CRD Water Services about a planned temporary water service disruption on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The disruption is expected to last approximately four hours.
The temporary disruption will affect approximately 850 water services in portions of the Helgesen, Stone Creek, Maple, Broomhill, Mountain Heights, Foreman Heights, French Road, Beaton Road and Rhodonite Drive areas.
Affected properties should have received, or be receiving, direct notice from CRD Water Services.
During the planned four-hour disruption, affected properties may experience temporary water service interruption or reduced water pressure. Residents are encouraged to plan ahead by setting aside water for essential needs during this period, such as drinking, handwashing, and food preparation.
After water service is restored, residents may notice temporary discolouration or air in the lines. Run cold water taps until the water runs clear before drinking, cooking, showering, or doing laundry.
