Traffic Advisory: Blythwood Road Closure on Tuesday, February 17 | 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The District of Sooke advises residents that Blythwood Road will be closed to through traffic on Tuesday, February 17 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to accommodate surveying work. Alternative access is available via Parkland.

This work is required as the District prepares remediation options following sloughing of the bank adjacent to the eastbound lane after recent heavy rainfall on Blythwood, west of Woodlands between 5829 and 5833.

Once surveying is complete, the road will reopen to single-lane alternating traffic.
