Thank you for your patience. Sooke Road is now open in both directions following the earlier motor vehicle incident in the 5700 block.

Please expect minor delays as traffic clears.

12:00pm, Friday, June 26, 2026 - As of approximately 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026, emergency services are responding to a motor vehicle incident in the 5700 block of Sooke Road.

Westbound traffic heading into Sooke is being detoured via Blythwood Road and Woodlands/Parkland. Eastbound traffic is currently moving on Sooke Road.

Drivers should expect delays. Early indications are that the detour will remain in place until at least 1:00 p.m., with residual delays expected as traffic clears.
