Walk with Purpose at Sooke’s Coldest Night of the Year Community-Led Fundraiser on February 28

The community is invited to take part in the Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) — a national, family-friendly fundraising walk taking place in Sooke on Saturday, February 28, 2026. This annual event raises awareness and critical funds in support of local services for people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness.

Hosted locally by the Sooke Shelter Society, the event brings together walkers, volunteers, donors, community groups, and businesses to step outside on a winter evening in solidarity with neighbours facing housing insecurity and other challenges.
