Community Investment Program

The Community Investment Program (CIP) is how the District of Sooke partners with local organizations to deliver programs, services, and events that enhance community wellbeing.

Through a mix of policies and funding streams, the CIP directs District resources where they can make the greatest local impact — fostering collaboration and community empowerment. By working together with residents, organizations, and partners, the program helps local ideas grow into shared successes that strengthen Sooke as a whole.

Program Goals

The CIP is guided by Council’s strategic priorities and aims to:

  • Support initiatives that build a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable community.
  • Strengthen partnerships with local non-profits, volunteers, and businesses.
  • Encourage innovation and measurable outcomes in community programming.
  • Ensure responsible and transparent use of public funds.
